Great gift for teachers...

"Great gift for teachers" The only reason that I did not give this book a 5 is that the pages are not laminated and the type of binding causes you to have to hold the pages down (I use canned goods to hold my pages down while I bake). Otherwise, this is a great cook book. The recipes are simple and festive. Most require few ingredients. Many of the recipes are for typical Christmas foods, such as eggnog ice-cream, cranberry cake, and pretzel wreath. Other recipes are included that I never before thought of as being festive, such as monkey bread, cheesecake cookies, cinnamon-sugar butter cookies. These are recipes that the kids can help with. What better time to get them excited about baking than Christmas time? My children's teachers are getting this book as a gift for the holidays. We recommend it.
