Best of the Series

I recently had a chance to go through the Demon Road Trilogy. In my opinion, Desolation is the best of them all. It has the most consistent pacing of all of the books but it also has the most colorful cast out of the three. The story has plenty of good twists and turns that keep it enjoyable, and while the ending did feel more than a little rushed, it was still a very enjoyable romp that stands on its own while setting up for the final book.
