I give this book " five stars" because....

Like many other reviewers stated, I too have purchased some of Brenda's products and I have loved using them in my projects.Therefore I was excited to find this book written by Brenda Walton. I rated Brenda's book "five stars" for the following reasons: First, the photographs are absolutely stunning! If you are a visual learner, as I am , then such gorgeous photos can truly add to our imagination and ideas' development. Second, I like the way Brenda organized each chapter. For example, the Introduction chapter tells the reader a bit about Brenda and also shows the reader what Brenda's beautiful Art Room looks like (WOW!). It's a feast for the eyes! Also, chapters 1 and 2 show how to design and lay-out your album's text and colors. Chapters 3 & 4 show the reader how to embellish basic album pages (note: all photos & samples are bright and colorful, once again). Chapter 5 discusses Vellum & it's uses (with examples/samples). Chapter 6 & 7 give ideas on how to use various kinds of papers and textures. Chapter 8 is more "whimsical" because the examples are not as "common" as what a reader might see in a basic scrapbook magazine. Instead, Chapter 8 shows the reader how to spread their wings, and try different approaches to their Albums. Finally, the last pages of Brenda's book are filled with "templates" that go with many of the examples/samples shown throughout Chapters 1-8.

MY FAVORITE DESIGNER

As a fan of all things pretty from Brenda Walton, I found this book "as a must"! In a busy life, scrapping is great therapy! My new book is a true inspiration and guide for upcoming projects!
