Just what I was looking for other than the disk doesn't work on the newer systems.
Excellent Book - Design of Reinforced Concrete

Design of Reinforced Concrete (Eighth Edition) by Jack C. McCormac and Russell H. Brown is an excellent book. I am a registered mechanical engineer and am trying to expand my understanding of reinforced concrete. What I really like about this book is how the authors use basic principles of mechanics of solids in the design of reinforced concrete. Rather than just trying to apply a set of derived equations tables and charts that I am not familiar with, I can use my understanding of basic mechanics of solids to figure out such things as the compressive stress and strain in the concrete, the stress and strain in the tensile steel reinforcement, the stress and strain in the compressive steel reinforcement, etc. while applying the current ACI 318-08 Code.
