Desert Rock I

An inspiring climbing guide that I got while on a trip to Utah where we spent most of our time in Zion National Park. I fell in love with the beautiful red rock walls and this book was excellent for providing info and topos for the routes that had been established. Spent many an evening flipping through the pages and daydreaming about desert climbing adventures. Got to return in summer of 2003 to climb Prodigal Sun on Angels Landing. Being able to reference the route topo and info in this book was helpful when preparing for and while climbing it. Just as useful it served as a reference after the fact to help me to remember details from the ascent and to show a few friends and family members what the route looked like. I’m not sure what happened to my old copy so I’m excitedly buying a new one. Was thrilled to see it available on this site and for such a low price. The author did a fantastic job and I will be searching out more of his work to purchase.
