Compelling Page Turner

I was so captivated by this book the first time I read it. So I turned around and read it again. My soul ached for the emotional pain of Capt. Hawke. I cheered for her triumph over her own emotional demons and the evil this world can produce. When love can flourish and endure under under such circumstances it is a true testament to the human spirit. If you are looking for a book that you can read during a commute to work or a day at the beach, this is it. It will take you away to another world most of us will never see. In these times of trouble we need more heroes like Capt. Dylan Hawke. I can't wait for the sequel!

I am an avid reader and love a good story. It is not often we run across a story that can make us not only see the world it speaks of but hear and smell it as well. Archangel has done this in Desert Hawk.It still amazes me that this is her first work of fiction and I, for one, will be eagerly awaiting her next one.
