A worthwhile book.

This is a good book. And like all Schmuhl books, it is an easy read with memorable one liners that put situations in proper perspective. A worthwhile topic, to be sure. Schmuhl is an engaging personality in his own right -- I took his "American Political Life" course at the University of Notre Dame. One of my favorite classes and one of my favorite professors. I think his best work however is "The Age of Personality."
