This new book by Mormon Hebraist John A. Tvedtnes explores the history of the translated Biblical text, including the history of the King james Version of the Bible that is used by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tvedtnes does a good job, and does not speak past lay-readers who are the main target audience for this book. Further, as someone trained in Biblical sciences, I appreciated his explanation of KJV words whose semantics have shifted since Jacobean English fell out of use, something that adds to one's reading of the Bible and the Book of Mormon volume, the latter also using KJV verbiage.
