Its a great book for someone on a budget and needs to decorate their home.

Great ideas at great prices!

What else could you want, a book that shows you fabulous interiors and how to design them at a very reasonable price? Beautiful photos, incredible ideas, shows you how to use what you have to have a modern/shabby chic look with gorgeous inexpensive touches you can do yourself! Buy this book! Great value and fabulous for those on a tight budget. Mine is already curled on the cover from looking through it so many times. And every time I find a new idea. How many books can you say that about?

Low cost decorating ideas

This book shows a range of decorating projects under $50. Some are good, others look cheap. Overall it provides some good ideas. I liked the how-to and tip sections.

Quality looks, great savings!

My main complaint about books focusing on inexpensive decorating ideas? The fact that most of the "decorations" look cheap, tacky and unappealing. This book is an exception. Many of the accents, crafts and decorations featured here are suitable for a variety of home spaces (and quite a few are designed for outdoor "rooms" as well). As in any book of this sort, readers are unlikely to find EVERY idea to their liking but I was pleasantly surprised by the number of suggestions that I was interested in adapting to my home. Best of all, the results usually looked as nice as anything you could find in an expensive home furnishings department. There were some classic ideas as well, always good for maximizing the value of this type of book.
