Clever and surprisingly absorbing

I read a lot of romance novels... I know the general plots and plot twists, but this one actually surprised me. I enjoyed the characters, and the humor. While this book employs the general often used villain types, Ms. Butler wove her tale with great humor and actually made the twist kind of startling.
