A murder-mystery that's different from the rest. It takes you to London where you'll learn about the medical/pharmaceutical scene. If you've been to London, you'll be able to visualize where much of the action takes place. If not, the author makes you wish you could fly there tomorrow! Thomas does a fantastic job of introducing you to the characters of this story - so much so that I felt I knew some of these people! Julie Belden and Rose Wheeler, partners in business and partners in solving crimes, will become characters you'll want to hear more about. Hurry with your next book, Ms. Thomas!
Not your Typical Mystery

Wow. This book has opened my eyes to the extremely complicated world of Corperate dealings! I agree with the other reviewer in that there is one extremely detestable character in the book, a good villian is always helpful. N. A. Thomas has a VERY UNIQUE perspective and its as though she is blending the fast paced world of today and weaving it into a mystery from an earlier era (Think Rex Stout). A neat combination and one I have never seen before.I would reccomned this book and it would make a nice gift to anyone that works in a fast paced job that likes a good mystery.
Medical Mystery Masterpiece

This is a riveting medical mystery that you can't put down. You'll gain a thorough knowledge of each character as the author introduces each of them to you and then richly develops their personalities and individual human weaknesses. You will surely come to hate one detestable physician but sympathize with his colleagues. At the same time, the sheer excitement generated by the two female healthcare consultant partners in trying to solve this murder is particularly entertaining. The mystery also provides knowledgeable insight into several aspects of a government sponsered healthcare system. An added bonus is how the reader gets to experience everyday life in both metro and suburban London. By the end of this first book in what is to be a trilogy, I'm ready to move to London tomorrow. Can't wait for the next two installments in this series.
