Awesome Book

Death by Design was an awesome, awesome book. It's got to be one of my favorite Nancy Drew books that I've read. It kept you going the whole time and I especially liked the fact that Ned was in it (I'm a big Nancy/Ned fan) and that he was always there for Nancy. Here's a little more about the book... Nancy Drew goes with her friend Bess Marvin to help a famous designer when she begins to get death threats. But when Nancy is accidentally poisoned, it becomes something much more than finding a poison pen writer. Nancy must find the antidote that will save her life...before it's too late. I'd definately recommend this book, especially if you're a big Nancy/Ned fan (like I am :D ). There's only one thing that I didn't like. I really don't like mushy endings to books at all, and this book had a mushy ending...the last seven pages kind of stunk compared to the rest of the book, and I wish they had been written differently, but they weren't, so I'll deal with it. Death by Design is an awesome book and I think you should really read it if you haven't yet :)

WOW!!!!!!!!

I LUV THIS BOOK!!!! THis was the first in the Nancy Drew files that I read. I had read most of the original books and didn't think I'd like this later one near as much, but BOY, was I wrong! THis Book is about Nancy and her friend Bess, when they go to visit one of The most popular fashion designers, Kim Daley. Kim has been getting death threats, and she has asked Nancy to come and investegate. But after being there only a few minutes, a paperweight explodes in Kim's office. Then, trying to forget about the threats and strange happenings for a while, Bess, Nancy, and Kim, go to get lunch. But soon, Nancy starts feeling, strange. She is dizzy, and hears a ringing noise, all of the sudden, she loses her appetite, she becomes very weak, red and black dots dance in front of her eyes. THen, in the middle of the food court, nancy collapses. She wakes up and is freezing, with a splitting headache, she is shaking and sweating. She takes a nap for a while, but it doesn't help. Throughout the whole book, nancy will faint and then wake up, she thinks that she just has a virus, but she soon gets a note from the criminal, it reads, " I can not mention my name yet, but THe poison wasn't meant for you! It was meant for Kim. P.S. IF you don't get treatment within 72 hours of the poisining, you will die!" From then on, it is a race against time to find the criminal, and get a treatment before it is all over. on the last day, nancy's spells get worse, and she faints more often she also finds out that Kims dog, who got poisined the same day as nancy, has died at the animal hospital. Nancy goes to the hospital, and has her blood drawn, but the doctors can't find out what the poisiin is and if they give her the wrong antidote, she might die because of the wrong medicine! Will she survive?? Find out, in Death By Design. Suspects: Lina, another fashion designer who will do whatever it takes to be the best. Paul, Lina's assistant who seems to always be at the wrong place at the wrong time. (he also loved Kim daley, but she broke his heart.) Alison, who is Lina's other assistant, (she loves Paul, but knows that he has no interest in her, and that he loves Kim.) Morgan, Kim's little sister, who does everything for Kim. (Kim bosses her around all the time, and makes her do everything around the office.) The worker at the pressing shop,(the place where they press all of the designs before the models wear them.) Who refuses to have anything to do with the poisning and threats. Miss Swang, who also works at the pressing shop. (she is very strange, her clothes are mismatched, her hair is crazy, and she has a funny accent.) This book is very good. One of the greatest Nancy Drew books ever written!

Nancy Drew and her friend Bess Marvin travel into a world of fashion. Behind all the clothes though, there is someone determained to see the death of Kim Daley a fashion designer. A poison that was meant for Kim was given to Nancy. Know Nancy has only 72 hours to live. Can Nancy find the poisoner and the antidote before it's to late? As time goes on Nancy gets weaker and weaker so time is running out fast.
