A fine book with sober truths

I picked this up after hearing Paul speak on the Art of Manliness podcast. I enjoyed the book. I consider an average book to be a 7 out of 10. I would rate this an 8. It gives you a fair amount of science and data surrounding the food industry as well as around physiology. As a businessman, I care less about this and more about actionable items and practicality. Where the book earns an 8 for me is in what I call the "part II" of each chapter. Paul does a fine job of giving you the data and science in "part I" and then continuing to interpret it for you. The book forced me to revisit my diet and activity levels, as well as challenge some limiting beliefs and negative mental models. It's a great read!
