A fun summer read

Death at Briar Ridge is a fun summer read for those of us who enjoy mysteries in the Agatha Christie vein. No gore, no sex, just a good, solid story line involving three murders at a snowed-in lodge in the North Georgia mountains. Poore uses great descriptive language to create imaginative images for the reader. The ending is surprising, with all of the threads of the story neatly tied in.
