Sweetest parrot book on earth

I befriended my first parrot in 1979, and came across this book the same year (when it was first published). It has been a cherished gem in my library ever since, and I recently purchased another as a gift for a fellow parrot-lover. The pleasures of sharing your life with one of these birds (like sharing a shower) are warmly described in a way that reveals key personality traits of different parrots. Fun twists on ancient tales, like Noah's Ark, complete the little book.
