This is THE best book

Oh my gosh. I just finished this book and it was so good. I loved it. I would reccomend it to anyone who likes to go see romantic comedies at the movies. It's so good. I couldn't put it down and it only took me 2 days to read it. I hope that everyone else who reads this will emjoy it as much as I did.

Most interesting book I've ever read

I was really overwhelmed by "Dear Nobody".It tells the reader about every day-problems of young adults, for example arguments with parents or friends and love/loneliness.The main characters Helen and Chris are both seniors and deeply in love when Chris gets Helen pregnant unwanted.Chris's narrative and Helen's letters to her unborn baby whom she calls "Nobody" show up how they cope with their new circumstances. Some passages can almost move you to tears because it is written in a realistic way.

Simple language, yet complicated ideas.

I borrowed this book from the local British Council library. This book is recommended to the local upper secondary school students. (Grade 9 and 10) The book is in very simple easy-flowing language. However, the idea is complicated. The author has a magic way to make the story interesting. The author is also able to put on readers' thinking caps. "What would I do, if I were in such a situation?" was the quesiton that I often asked myself as I read on. The story starts with a conflict and ends in an open-ended way: it gives readers spaces to think. The book is a good guide to teenagers who are in love. It alert them how much trouble pre-marrital sex can bring. It also serves as a good guide to show teenagers who are pregnant at such early ages what to do. It is also a good guide book for parents who are living with teenagers. The book helps parents understand what the teenagers of the new century are thinking so that they can get closer to their sons or daughters. Anyway, this is a book that is very easy to read. It is just about 200 pages, so it won't take a lot of time. Enjoy your reading!

A bitter sweet look into the world of a pregnant teenager

This book was stunningly beautiful. The plot is lovely and the characters are real. This book creats no pretty illusions. It reveals the frightening reality of being young and pregnant. Helen and Chris are young, foolish and in love. They are in no way ready for the results of unprotected sex. When Helen discovers she is pregnant, she is terrified. But soon, she is ready to deal with her pregnancy, and Chris is not. Chris stands by her, but she ends the relationship, feeling its for his own good. But Chris feels he has a right to play a part in his babys life. This story is magnificently told, and truthful. Unlike other stories of pregnant teenagers, this book precents the an honest veiw of Helen and Chris's situation. I would recommened this book to anyone, its so wonderful that everyone deserves to read it.

Dear Nobody - Berlie Doherty...

A true insperation. I was recomended this book by my school librarian when I was 13, at 16 years old its still the best I've ever read. I'm currently writing a paper on it for my Media GNVQ coursework, I loved it so much its turned a chore to a pleasure. I've convinced several friends to give it a go, and they all loved it as much as me. Other Berlie Doherty books have come close, but never had such a huge effect on me. For days after first reading it I couldn't stop wondering what happened next. Its one of the only books ever to make me cry, pure genius :)
