Real people of the heartland

The title says it all. As a native of the area and a friend of Mr. pack, I can provide general character reference, although it was Clyde who got the interviews and dug out the details of these interesting people. Mr. Butcher, for example: a dedicated educator if ever there was one. None of his former students will ever forget him.
