Beautiful keepsake gift.

I love this book...Dear Grandchild, This is Me is a delightful book for a grandparent to gift to a grandchild. The book itself is beautiful. There is a lovely colored tree on the slightly textured cover and the colors and tree theme are carried throughout the book creating a very pleasing effect. As noted in the introduction of the book the questions flow through the seasons of one's life, from the beginning, through childhood and adulthood, on into the present day as a grandparent. I loved the questions that were asked. I have seen other 'grandparent' books and felt the questions were difficult to answer but the ones in this book seemed to pick up on the key parts of one's life and also on questions that a child might want to be answered. There are several pages in each section left for attaching photos (and there are little stickers included at the back of the book for mounting the pictures) and an envelope as well to add other pictures or notes one might want to share. I wish that I had been given a book like this from my grandparents. What a treasure it would have been. As a grandmother to ten, I'm not sure I can choose which of the ten I would gift it to, I might just have to purchase a few more! I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review. The opinions are my own.
