Scarlet did not come to terms with or accept her sexuality until age 30. Scarlet documented the significant events of her life in the diary she kept for 20 years. In this novel, Scarlet revisits the entries related to Grace and their time together to make a decision when Grace reenters her life, hoping to reconcile.
