Justice Prevails

Deadly Triangle: A True Story of Lies, Sports and MurderDue to living in the town of Monroe, Louisiana and attending Northeast Louisiana University at the time of the murder, I was very interested in reading this book. Fran Parker did an excellent job of investigations and maintaining the facts throughout the sequential events of the deadly triangle. Having a Master's in Criminal Justice myself, this book has a very special meaning to me since I knew all of the characters involved from investigating, arresting, charging, and prosecuting a murderer, who almost got away with this hideous crime. It reaffirms my confidence in the justice system, as well as, the prosecuting attorneys, who made it possible for justice to be served! Bravo!

True book

Written so that every page holds one's attention. It is true, I live in Spicer's hometown, and followed the events closely. Ending was not to my satisfaction, but that is how real life is.

Deadly Triangle

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. I was familiar with the murder because I have lived in or around Monroe all of my life. I graduated from the university. Ms. Parker brought out facts that were not reported in the newspaper about the murder and the people involved. It's too bad she wasn't on the prosecution team; a second murder may have prevented.

Native of Monroe

I graduated from this university and cannot forget that time. Truly shock and awe, southern style.

I read it in one sitting .

Excellent true crime story. Would like to see more books by this author. Deadly Triangle had me turning the pages rapidly but was sorry when it finally ended. This is my first review I've ever written.
