Another Delightful JAK!!

The grandchildren of the Harte-Madison feud are at it again. Lillian and Gabe met at the wedding between his brother and her sister. Both are the oddballs of the Harts and Madisons. He is the Madison that is a superpower in business when all other Madisons seem doomed to fail, and she is the 'failure' of the Hartes when all other Harte are groomed for success. She is the the successful matchmaker, but wants to close the business and become a full time artist to the shock of family. The problem: Gabe. After the wedding, where sparks arched between them, she was not surprised to find him on her door step. Only she was disappointed the find he wanted her services to find him a wife. After five disastrous dates arranged, she just wants to end the contract, but he won't. Gabe is determined to hold her to it - personally. And he follows her back to Eclipse Bay to prove it!!! You will meet all the noisy characters of EB, including Arizona and her conspiracy theory about the institute on the hill. This time she is convinced they are sneaking in the bodies of the aliens from area 51! JAK gives you guaranteed great read!!

Great story

Eclipse Bay and Dawn in Eclipse Bay are the first books I've read of Jayne Ann Krentz. I think she is absolutely wonderful in how she is slowly bringing the Harte-Madison family feud to an end. I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the good work!

Finally - getting back to Jayne's great style!!

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. Throughout her career, Jayne has had a wonderful interplay between her two main players that makes you just love them both. Lately, though, her characters have been a bit ... weary, not thrilled to be meeting the love of their life. In this book, in my opinion, it's back to her great style, and I really enjoyed it.

Eclipse Bay Books are the best she's written in years!

I've been a fan since Ms. Krentz' Candelight Ecsatsy Romance days, and she is one of the rare authors I followed to hardback. Nevertheless, I had just about given up on her after the last several Krentz/Quick stilted and formulaic offerings. The Eclipse Bay books, in paperback no less!, are a return to the much more lively and entertaining books I expect from this author.

A wonderful contemporary romance

Lillian Harte and Gabe Madison first met at the wedding of their siblings in Eclipse Bay, Oregon. Sometime afterward in Portland, Gabe asks Lillian to find him a wife through her successful computer dating service. After five failures at getting her client interested with decent dates, Lillian decides to return Gabe his money. She plans to shut down her thriving firm to commit to her passion, painting.Gabe continues to pester Lillian even after she leaves Portland to return home to Eclipse Bay. As Lillian and Gabe become better acquainted they fall in love, but both question whether a responsible Harte who breaks that family mold and an irresponsible Madison who breaks that family mold can forge a relationship in spite of the success of their siblings?DAWN IN ECLIPSE BAY, the sequel to the wonderful contemporary romance ECLIPSE BAY, retains the warmth and freshness of the previous tale. The story line is fun as the citizens of Eclipse Bay watch another Madison-Harte couple fall in love. The lead characters are dynamic while the supporting cast rounds out a story line that proves Ms. Krentz remains one of the best genre authors of romance.Harriet Klausner
