H.L. Davis is an Oregon Treasure

Davis'Northwest is an excellent anthology of Davis' work, including three chapters of his signature novel, Honey in the Horn, several essays, and collections of poetry and letters. The authors, Booth, from Oregon State University and Love, from the University of Oregon are both experts on Northwest literature. They give Davis deserved significance as a pioneer in the early part of the 20th century. There is an excellent bibliography. The cover art is lovely.
