Well worth reading!

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear them from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. " 2 chronicles 7:14. I was stunned to see that this book has such a low rating. Have we truly taken to heart the teachings in the Bible? Can we honestly read it and say that all we have to do is take Jesus as our Savior, and then live as we please? Jesus told people to sin no more, or worse things will come upon them--not to go out and do whatever they wanted--. Read it yourself: John 5:14. How many of us truly reckon ourselves dead to sin? Romans 6:11. If this were not absolutely imperative, would it be in the Bible? Romans 6: 6 "Knowing this ,that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed that henceforth we should not serve sin. " Christians should not be living like the world dabbling in sin. So often, I have heard a Christian say, "I am like everyone else only saved" That is so sad!!! We are to be in the world, but not of it. We are no longer our own. We were redeemed at a very, very high price. We are not to be like the unsaved. I am a baby Christian--before I became a Christian, I saw how Christian's behaved. The world is definitely watching. Christians may be the only Bible some people ever read. (I read that somewhere and it is definitely a true statement!) There is no power, no holiness in the lives of people who steal and cheat and lie. If you are living in the flesh--people like me, will not see one good reason to become a Christian. It was only through, the small few Godly people I met, that I saw that Chrsitianity could be a life of victory and of joy!!! David Wilkerson is continuing to warn us of the "worse things that will come upon us," if the people of this country continue to be ruled by the flesh instead of the spirit. Read this and ask the Holy spirit to open your eyes.
