Great Little Book On King David

While "David After God's Own Heart" was published in 1984, the book is very relevant for today. The book is around 130 pages and contains topics from David's life such as: 1. Early upbringing and how he was often overlooked by others (just the kind of person whom God will do His greatest work through). 2. Battle with Goliath. 3. Learning to lean on God and no one else. 4. Dealing with the pressures of being a king. 5. Adultery with Bathsheba. 6. Stressful family relationships. 7. Dealing with mid-life crises. The book is well-written and the narrative flows freely. Great little book for someone who needs encouragement from the Lord. Read and enjoy. Highly recommended.
