Love it!!

I loved this book. It was funny, witty and sarcastic with some helpful advice.. I would recommend it to anyone who just so happens to want to read a dating book. Or perhaps get some decent advice.

Funny... because it's true

Honestly, the title says it all. Dating is, obviously, the opposite of fun but the book reminds you that it can be very, very funny, especially when viewed through the bluntly honest eyes of the book's authors. This is a great read for anyone looking for witty commentary or sage advice on navigating the ins and outs of modern dating... and at the very least it'll make you giggle.

Like it or not, this book is about all of us...

Dating is, by nature, kind of horrible. The authors recognize that and have written accordingly, producing a one of a kind book on dating that everyone can identify with. At turns hilarious, insightful and blunt, "Dating Makes You Want to Die" is a book that people in any stage of a relationship should read. Based more in common sense and hard-won wisdom than boring research, it reads like one of the most interesting 3am bar conversations about dating you've ever had. Even if you're past the dating stage of life, are happily committed or even married, this book will become therapy for your traumatized soul. A married man myself, I couldn't help but crack up after recognizing the former me in chapter after chapter. Robinson and Holloway have really tapped into the zeitgeist with this one. It's the perfect dating book for the post-dating world, and I guarantee you won't find a more fun recent non-fiction book out there. It may not help you snag the perfect life mate, but at least you'll have someone to commiserate with.
