Excellent book for learning about database principles

This is not just a very good book but it mananeges to presents the concepts in a clear and understable manner. Maybe I rank it with only four stars because I read it in 97 and I would expect some new aspects to be presented but anyway nothing written in this book is obsolete. Also I would liked a little more exercises and the answers also. A very nice feature that I liked very much was that is has a sample project which is developed through the book.
