The best DB design book I ever read.

The book focus on Relational database design methodology. Based on mathematical Set/Graphic theory, this book described how to map the real world objects into the relational data base, also in a way of nearly mechanics( You can say in an engineering way). There are no physical view on internal structure of commerical database, but concentrate on how to design a conceptual database.
