It kept me on the edge of my seat.

Just about everyone in Wythe believes that Rhodare (aka 'Demon Dare') is actually a satanically empowered warlord. Only those closest to him know different. Especially Alyce, the woman Rhodare secretly loves.When the death of Rhodare's father during a family arguement leaves the land to Rhodare strong political forces gather to take it from him. As the love between Alyce and Rhodare grows stronger so does their determination to fight those spreading the dark whispers of deceit. Highly recommended.
