Another great story!

I was so glad to see a sequel to Brophy's first book, Midnight Eyes. I fell in love with Sir Gareth in the first book and couldn't wait to read his story. Of course, I was NOT disappointed!!! I look forward to more from this author! Bravo!

Heart of Darkness!!

Sir Gareth de Hugues has built a career and fierce reputation as a warrior. He now has taken the path to manage his family's Devon estates-only to be attacted en route by a robber. He sets off in pursuit to nab the would be robber, and found that he (the robber) isn't a man but a woman. He finds himself stunned by this exotic, beautiful woman who is trying to provide for her mother and brother. Gareth feels an attraction and can't let her go, so he takes them all with him. Even if robbing isn't exactly the honest way to feed her family, Zetta is the only one responsible. Her mother is ill and her brother, is well, handicapped. I love the way the Gareth tries to court Zetta, but she is afraid to trust any man. You can feel the sexual tension between the two in hoping they will get together and have a happy ever after. This author is truly amazing and talented. Hooray for her!!
