Peter Grant wasn't looking for danger. In fact. he left the FBI after too much action, too many "need to know" conversations, too many secrets. The fact that his closest friend and partner died in his arms may also have something to do with it. Grant's definition of fufillment has changed over the years. A few career changes and a failed marriage have humbled him. But his faith remains undimmed. And though the money isn't anything to speak of, he relished his part-time work with the LDSSS (Latter-day Saint Security Service) the agency that provides security for General Authorities of the Church. It means a bit of travel, but it also means spending time with one of the Lord's chosen leaders here on earth. It leaves just enough spare time to have his own private investigation business on the side. But when a biological attack in Italy forces the 2006 Winter Games back to Salt Lake City, and a routine murder investigation points to a known terrorist, all the lines start to blur.
