Wow very emotional book

This is the second book first being Forbidden. I liked Forbidden and would give it 4 stars, but this book gets 5 from me. I was so wrapped up in the characters and their plight. I was really pulled into this story. It had me upset, sick to my stomach and worried. I felt pulled in many directions emotionally throughout this book. I wanted these characters to just be happy and thankfully there's always a happy ending. These characters deserved a happy ending and they got one. I wish the book could have gone on longer with the ending but it did everything it needed to. I'd definitely read Forbidden first because they are main characters in the second story as well. This series by Anastasia Black is a keeper for me.
