The Internet... a world without rules, without boundaries. Where you can be anyone you want, whoever you aren't. And it's all just a click away... This description may be from another edition of this product.
First off, don't read the back of this book. It does not accurately describe the storyline. It's actually a lot better than what was said there! It's actually about a kid, named Brian Rittenhouse, who is attempting to avoid geek classification by running for school president. LoneLobo, an anonymous poster on the school Message Boards, is "the coolest guy at Bloomfield High, and that's saying something." Now, obviously, people want to find out who this person is. At the same time, a trial is going on. Four of the school's football players apparently went crazy and turtured a few of their fellow students. They were caught after police found evidence of their murdering the school coach, Coach Cappistrano (nicknamed "Cappy"). The ringleader of the gang (called The 24 Point Club (The name was never figured out)) was never caught, and police think think there is still a murderer walking free. Brian's dream girl, Dawn Sedaris, is obsessed with finding out Lobo's identity, and Brian, of course, accepts to help her, but he is jealous because she wants Lobo, and is just using Brian. He tries to swing her opinion by dropping ideas such as "maybe Lobo IS the leader", and after he sets her up to meet Lobo (who doesn't show), he tries to make it look like Lobo has singled Dawn out to be the next "victim", as if Lobo was indeed the leader, and sends her a keychain dyed black with a note saying "someday you will die.", which was the 24 Pt. Club tradition of warning their victims before attacking. This causes general panic among the school. It never quite dies down, since the police are now convinced that there is another murderer. At this point, a major revelation is revealed. I'm not going to give away the story, read it yourself, folks! But if you want, I'll drop two hints: 1, Brian has something major in common with Lobo, and they actually team up later, and 2, The killer is closer to Brian than he realises. These were, of course, trick hints that bend the truth without breaking it... READ THIS BOOK! I certainly hope I've gotten you hyped up about it enough. Ciao.

I've read 3 of the books in the collection so far. I LOVED THEM. Jordan Cray is brilliant. He writes stories that makes you wish that the story will not end. I have NEVER read a book that so closely resembles my life as Bad Intent did. Mr. Cray so accurately described how a huge crush on someone will make you cross the line from "Nice guy to Stinker" among other things.
The best mystery ever!!!

It was such a thrilling book I read it twice. This is far the best mystery I have ever read.It keeps you interested and makes you guess what is going to happen next.It was so realistic. If you like mystery here is an excellent one. It got me so scared that I had to read it with my bedroom door locked and all the lights on
A great book from a great series!

I've read the whole series twice (exept for #8-Dead Man's Hand, which I am still trying to get). This is one of my favorites, it keeps you guessing, even on the last page! When you think you now who did it, think again, and again! I would recomend any book in the series to any one 13or older. I have to mention some of my other favorites: #4-Hot Pursuit, and #7-Most Wanted. One little piece of advice: Don't buy any of these, books with the *intent* of reading a little, then puting it down, you won't be able to!
