"It was a wonderfully sunny day in La Mirada California. It was the weekend and I was around 11 years old when one day I decided to go out for a ride on my pink bike. I first went to my girlfriend's home in hopes that perhaps she would be home and we could ride our bikes together as we usually did on the weekends. Theresa was not feeling well, so I decided to go riding by myself so I rode out their driveway and up the sidewalk. I made it half way across the street when - Bam - This large car struck my body. I flew a ways, and hit the ground. Later I found out the guy was drunk, and was driving 75 miles an hour in a pedestrian area. When I got hit by the car my body was thrown, and I landed on the black warm pavement."And that is when the author's adventure through Faith truly begins. Taken to Heaven, she is told that her time on Earth is not over, and sent back to deal with the trauma through God's love.
