wow

The book, Pigs Might Fly was an awsome book. The book showed a lot of perserverence, curiosity, pride, and initiative. My favorite part is when Daggie, the pig, tries to fly, he uncovers a new talent of his. In this book Daggie is a good, kind-hearted pig. He shows a lot of perserverence, curage, initiative, and curiousity. I think you should read this book if you like fun and adventure.

SUCH a good book!

This was my *favorite* book growing up, and I still read it once in a while for kicks. It has a little bit of everything - drama, humor, action, and some good ol' fashioned moral lessons. Very entertaining for kids and their parents - definitely a must!

A Super book

I thought that this was a great book, I could hardly put it down. This book was about how a pig wants to fly, but can only swim. My favorite character was Daggie Dogfoot, because he was a very cool character to read about. My favorite part of the book was when Daggie saved his owner. I think that you should read this book if you like fun and adventure.

One of Dick King-Smith's best books

This is a cool book. This runt with dog-like feet is a very unusual pig. They call him Daggy Dogfoot. In the middle of the book, he learns how to swim, which is very interesting because pigs can't swim. Hooves aren't built for swimming. It's just a cool cool book-- the best book I've ever read. Dick King-Smith writes great books. by Sam Gonzalez (age 8)

Absolutely endearing!

A little pig, born a runt, was saved from becoming ham on the sole virtue of being physically malformed. He grows up on the farm, going about in his guileless ways, so reminiscent of Calvin and Hobbes. Brings back memories of idyllic days and all things simple. Can pigs fly? Daggie sure did.
