A large majority of people in every country and in every race possess this spirit of adventure which drives them to accomplish all kinds of difficult tasks and face all kinds of dangers in the pursuit of their goals. It is the spirit of adventure which compels people to climb up mountains, to sail upon the distant seas, to visit lands previously unvisited by human feet and so on. Without this spirit of adventure, most of the countries on this earth would have remained unknown and most of the peaks of mountains would have remained unconquered.
