Be confident when dealing with Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Masonic Lodge, the New Age Movement, spirit guides, astrology, the occult, and false teaching within the church. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The book has good information about different cults and is highly infomative. I recommend it to all Christians and those who want to know about authentic Christianity!
Well covered!

There authors have documented and presented their facts very well. For the Christian believer who studies spiritual warfare this is a wonderful aide to your original text book. The only ones who may be offended are the ones who are still in these various doctrines of deception. Sometimes the truth just hurts.
True Facts vs. Fiction

John Ankerberg and John Weldon have done and incredible job of challenging the Cults, especially those that are "Christian" based, to compare their beliefs, philosphy, and rituals against what the Bible, the Word of God, says. Some of the reviewers indicate the research of Ankerberg and Weldon is biased, and I guess if you consider the "truth" to biased, then I guess it is. (It's my bet those reviewers have never read the Bible) If you truly don't agree with what the authors have written, compare it to what the Bible says...basically, compare challenge the truth. The authors have even told you where to look for your answers. If you read the Bible, just read it, the directives are incredibly clear and call for little interpretation. After all, it is your salvation that is at risk. You can be politically correct or you can be eternally correct. But don't take my word for it...take the Word of God. It's all right there in black and white is the best selling book of all time....the Bible.
An excellently researched, very controversial book

I have to disagree with the next reviewer completely. Ankerberg and Weldon write some of the best-documented and -footnoted books in existence, and Cult Watch is no exception. In actuallity, it is a compilation of their "Fast Facts on . . ." series of booklets, but should not be looked down upon because of that. The next reviewer's primary objection to this book seems to be that the authors take a very hard-nosed stance against both the various "Christian" cults and the various aspects of the New Age Movement, which of course is not very PC. Say what you may, however, you cannot deny that this work backs up its statements with a truckload of references and solid reasoning. Bottom line: If you're not a Christian, this book will probably offend you, but I'd recommend you read it anyway. If you are a Christian, this book is an invaluable resource to have in your library.
