Verge for the masses

In this book Roger Verge presents many of the dishes that make southern French cooking so popular. Many of the dishes are easy to prepare and give excellent result. Accompanying the recipes are numerous personal anecdotes which make the book come to life. Without a doubt Verge's best book for the average cook and in general one of my favorite French cookbooks.
