A fantasy like no other

This review is from: World of Grayham (Worlds of the Crystal Moon) (Paperback) When I learned about Phillip Jones' story, he was in Idaho. I have read the final edition of book one, World of Grayham, and loved it. My kid talked me into buying the book, and I am glad he did. It didn't take me long to read the book from cover to cover. I was pulled in, and when morning came, I realized I had just had a sleepless night. Bravo, Mr. Jones. Thanks for an amazing fantasy and a great escape!

I think this book kicks Harry Potter's ass!

This review is from: World of Grayham (Worlds of the Crystal Moon) (Paperback) I eagerly waited to read the final edition of Crystal Moon World of Grayham, and my wait was not in vain. I was delighted with the changes which were made to the storyline. The editing issues in the previous editions have been fixed. The characters have much more personality, and I was able to relate on a deeper level. This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions. One minute, I am laughing hysterically. (I like cheese, George!) The next minute, I am crying because of a sad scene. Then again, I find myself cringing because of a brutal fight scene. This book has it all, excitement, adventure, magic, action, romance, mystery, conflict and a 4,000 pound undead jaguar named Kepler. (Here kitty, kitty!) I cannot think of anything this book doesn't have. I loved the visuals. The author has an incredible way of making you feel as if you are traveling through his world. I have recommended this series to all of my friends and family. If you are looking for a book to take you on an amazing adventure, this is the book for you.

Unique approach!!!

Whether this is edited or not the adventure was one worth taking. Mr. Jones sure knows how to spin a tale. My sister sent me his book and she explained the whole concept behind it being an unedited manuscript. I did as she recommended and stopped reading after the first chapter and read the final edition of chapter 1 that is free to read on the official website [...] . All I can say is, even though I am not usually a fantasy reader, I can not wait until I get the second book and the final edition comes out. What an interesting way to produce a book. Encourage participation and collaboration... what a unique concept!!! I would definitely recommend this to all open minded people who can see beyond the editing to see this for the unique story and approach.

Fantastic, MUST READ, book!

I was looking for a book that I would enjoy, and one that I would love enough to actually want to finish the series. During my search, I found Crystal Moon. I had read reviews about how this is a tremendous series, so I gave it a go. Little did I know that this is a hard book to put down! Immediately, it unravels a suspenseful, page turning story about the fate of our world, and how certain people are chosen to save it. While on the other hand, some of the gods are trying to start a war and practically take over the universe. This is a spectacular book that will leave you speechless. I highly suggest this book to anyone who is tired of reading basic books series, and try this one out!

A Fast Fun Read!!!

Mr. Jones wrote the first 80 pages as the result of a dream. I got this information from the website on the book jacket. Well, the pages that follwed that first 80 are sublime!!! This book has it all. There are romantic interludes amongst wars between humans and beasts, love stories developing and becoming an integral part of the storyline, and then there are those with a thirst for power they cannot quench!!! Who wil be the next victim or hero??? Why does the story hold my attention so strongly??? I am not one to sit and focus on any one thing for any length of time!!! I sat and reaad this book, mezmerized. The content is so delicious!!! I hope to follow the three main characters, Sam, Shalee, and George as they progress through time. May Mr. Jones remain the curator of such fine stories as the books unfold before us! I like this story and am telling it to my children as a bedtime story. They can't wait for the next installment. A little secret...me either!!!! What a success!!! All Hail the good people of the Crystal Moon!!! Life without this fun wonderful book would be GARESH!!!!! Even the paper it is printed on seems to be nice paper!!!!!! Way to go Mr. Jones!!!! A TRIUMPH!!!!!!
