Excellent book

This was a great read. It took a while to convince myself to get around to it finally, but I found it hard to put down. Ms. Bravo has done a great job of classifying different members of the mineral kingdom according to their attributes for use in opening the heart, healing emotional challenges, and opening the reader to greater levels of love and emotional satisfaction in all aspects of life. Although the book begins with a lengthy section describing love and related topics, the crystals presented are well researched and generally easy-to-acquire. When newer stones from the market are described, Brett, who is also an astrologer, actually discusses the astrological data surrounding the approximate dates of discovery. This alone sets this book apart from any other I've read. A very easy to read sort of guidebook, this volume will likely make its way into the libraries of serious crystal therapists. I do believe that the uniqueness of Ms. Bravo's work will preserve a special place for it on one's bookshelf.

Fascinating and Informative

I have been on the lookout for this book ever since I first checked it out at the library. It is one of the best guides to crytals that I have had the pleasure of reading. The focus here is on love and romance, making this book an excellent Valentine's day gift should it ever be reprinted.
