My cousin Ernie

I have read this book many times over the years, first when I was 12 years old hearing about my famous cousin who was a prisoner of war, then again at about 16. As I read this book I was in complete awe that one man could with stand so many years of such hardship, things were done to this man that most of us have only seen in the movies.
