I read this book two years ago, and it is a story that I think would help both the "Survivors" of incest and the families of the "Victims" to reach a definite understanding of how a child feels when this happens to them. I am now a volunteer for the Center For Child Abuse Prevention in my city.
Well written and inspirational, I read it in one sitting.

Donna Friess shows several things on incest: 1. The cycle of Abuse must end; 2. There is healing from such horrendous torture; 3. There is hope, peace, healing, and life after incest. After Donna experiences the ultimate betrayal by her father, she gives hope to incest Survivors; she lets them know that life isn't about incest and being a victim. Life is about living, loving, and trimuph of the human spirit. I highly recommend this book to any incest Survivor.
