Slow start really pays off in the end

I will not lie that this book has a slow start which unfortunately like a lot of SJM books. But, seriously do not let that stop you from reading this book. The first part of the book was more like a romance than a fantasy. As the book goes on, it picks up pace and gets crazy good. I was screaming at my book and heart-broken with the ending. Again, I absolutely love the hint of mystery that the author adds.

Amazing series, definitely recommend it

Great sequel

This book was even better than the first. We get a taste of the main characters true self and what she is like when she let's her guard down. The magic and the fighting is so amazing in this story. It is so unique while still adding popular themes. Amazing must read. Another book that will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time. It's like watching a movie and you never want it to stop.
