Crosswalk Connection

Everytime you turn around today, parents are told to become more involved in their children's education. But what exactly does effective parent involvement look like? What questions should parents be asking regarding their children's academic achievement? How do they know the school their children attend is right for them? This book does a tremendous job of not only answering these pressing questions, but does a superb job of providing practical advice, tips and questions parents can ask in a format that is easy and enjoyable to read. If I learned anything as a school board member, it was that the parent / teacher partnership is sacred. This book is a "must read" for those parents and teachers who see their relationship as a critical element to a child's academic success. I highly recommend this book.
