Another great story

I don't know what else to say, except this is a great love story. It's a journey when you read DS, I've read all of her books, and they are all wonderful. If you read her, be prepared to read all 50 of her books though, you'll be hooked.

One of my favourites

I have been reading Danielle Steel's books for over 15 years now. Sometimes they do get a bit "all the same" with most of the characters being important, successful, beautiful people who live in "stately homes" and wear "important jewels and furs". Sometimes I think the characters are more about what they have then who they are. Despite this, I always enjoy her books - they are easy to read, romantic and make you forget about everyday life for a couple of hours while engrossed in the book. Personally I think her earlier books are more enjoyable and get more involved in the characters than some of the later books she has written.Crossings is one my favourites. I love the the character of Liane - her courage to stand by her husband while everyone is against him. A novel set during WW2 and one that you will really enjoy if you are new to Danielle Steel - give it a try.

A Great Love Story!

I am a new reader of Danielle Steel's book! "Crossings" was my very 1st book of hers, that I read.. I have to say, It's a great Love Story!! I think everyone should read it.. I hardly didn't put the book down. This book is a amazing. Everyone will love it.

Romance written in a brilliant way...

This book was written wisely. Steel uses european history to show us the story of the De Villiers family and how the different actions that take place in the story affect their realitites... their hearts... their souls... their minds. For romance lovers, it's a "must read"...
