It touches the Heart

I was captured from the first page to the last and read the book in one setting, it's a must read for men and women of all ages.Ruth takes you to places most people can only guess at, the heart of the Amish.I never dreamed of how informative a book could be about the lives of a Amish family. They are no different than anyone else in this world, they laugh, cry, get mad and even hurt one another. Then there's the love story,I laughed and I cried, I even got mad, I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride. To top everything off there's Ruth's amazing transformation to the modern society,it was beautiful. The photos of the Amish and Ruth were a perfect fit.I whole heartily recommend this book to anyone who believes in the rights of people to live their lives the way they choose and to dream the American dream, that all people, no matter what faith they are, have the right to be themselves.I love this book.
