Cats in Cross Stitch

For cat lovers and cross-stitch lovers alike, this book is an absolute delight. The cats are portrayed in very lifelike poses and the designs possess an almost Impressionistic, water color look. The coloring is very detailed, though not always lifelike. These designs are not for novice stitchers, they are very intricate. There are several large designs with portions of them set out for smaller projects, such as coasters and jewelry boxes. If you are looking for "cutesy" cats or kittens, this is not the book for you. But if you are looking for depictions of the cat ideal, it should be perfect.
