I loved everything about this book with the exception of the runic alphabet section. It appears as though she randomly assigned runes to each star... I can -maybe- see the connection on the ninth charm, but Uruz (second rune) would have been better. It's very strongly advised to look up the meanings of the runes before you make these charms. with the exception of the third charm, it appears to be the Elder Futhark and a mangled Ihwaz(third charm for Algol), which is the thirteenth rune, not the fourteenth. (Regardless, the assignation still makes no sense.) Othila, (second charm for Mira) is the 23rd, not 24th (that's Dagaz). Otherwise it is beautiful. I was pleased to see the Wiccan material all but absent, though though I would dare call the rituals a bit "extreme" in their new-ageism.
A Little Treasure of Spells
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 22 years ago
This little gem of a book contains numerous spells, charms, recipes and rituals. It is a book that is not based on a particular path but leans towards the to the way of the old Nature Religions. Very appealing to anybody intrested in ancient lore and occult rituals, this would be a wise addition to any library.
A gem for the witch's bookshelf!

This poetic treasure contains many creative and brilliant charms, though some being written in latin should be used with caution. The rituals are beautifully written, and very involved, insuring the most intimate connection with the seasons. The feeling this book gives is that of a book of wisdom handed down for generations and deserves that much respect.
