Kennedy's sixteen-year-old student, Reign Curry, tackles her own spiritual trials in trying to remain a virgin after meeting Todd, a manipulative, smooth-talking eighteen-year-old. The story crescendos when the lives of the women are forever changed after a positive swab test reveals a possible death sentence for one of the characters.
