Crimes of the Dreamer

How is poetry born? In Crimes of the Dreamer, Naomi Lowinsky says that: "The word climbs out of the sea where there have been so many in and out of each other's bellies." Once those words emerge: "i string my own pearls down the tunnels of night i follow my own thread." And so she does follow her own thread, weave her own prayer shawl. These are poems from a poet "who is all magnetism hot core cold sky rock bright mist veils her who spins the invisible thread - " To slightly paraphrase, Wordsworth said that poetry is strong emotion recollected in tranquility.
