Short Comic type book

Is good to give to that cop in your life. I enjoyed it even though I am not a cop.

In memory of the Author, struck down in the line of duty

I have owned "Crime Crushers" for many years, since I worked for a Police Department in Southern California, not far from the City in which Mr. Davis was a Police Officer. The "cop humor" he illustrated in his cartoons was always right on the mark, and presented Law Enforcement personnel in a positive, human way. I still laugh at his cartoons to this day, even after seeing them hundreds of times. Yesterday, I was saddened to read that the author was killed in the line of duty on August 5th, 2000, in Port Angeles, Washington, after responding to a disturbance. Deputy Davis had transferred to the Clallum County Sheriff's Department five years ago. He is survived by his wife and three children, with a fourth child due in February.

Wonderful cop humor

Being a police officer I can relate to many of the situations portrayed in the book and I'm looking forward to chuckling through the other ones that Officer Davis has graced us with.
